Import recipes from any website into your meal plan
Copy the address of a recipe page, open Library in a quiet counter, tap Add, choose Import a link and paste it. The title, servings, ingredients with amounts and the method come in for you to check, and then the recipe can go on your plan and into the grocery list.
Importing from links is free. Without an account you can keep 25 recipes on one device; a free account removes the limit.
How do I import a recipe from a link?
- Copy the address of the recipe page.
- Open a quiet counter, go to Library, tap Add and choose Import a link.
- Paste the address. To bring in several at once, turn on Multiple URLs and paste one address per line.
- Check what came in, change anything that is off, and save.

What happens after it is saved?
The recipe lives in your library. Put it on a day in the Planner and its ingredients join the grocery list, added together with any other recipe that uses the same thing. Scale it to the number of people eating, and cook from it one step at a time.
What about recipes that are not on a website?
- Type or paste text for a recipe you have in a message or a document. Free.
- Share code to receive a recipe another cook sends you. Free.
- Scan or screenshot a cookbook page, Video from a cooking reel, and Record a cook for a family recipe told out loud. These come with a quiet counter plus.
If you use an AI assistant, you can also connect it and ask it to save a recipe from a link. See planning with ChatGPT or Claude.
